Superficial dermatophytosisis currently caused by dermatophytes belonging to three genera, namely Trichophyton, Microspurum and Epidermophyton. In recent years, superficialmycosis have becomeincreasingly resistant current antifungal treatment. Multiple incidences of chronic infections, reinfections treatment failure been reported. The epidemiological shift from T, rubrumtoT. mentagrophytes/ T. interdigitalis are the dominant pathogen in tenea patients. Limitation available approved antifungals for dermatophytosis difficulties or unavailability culture sensitivity test fungus also contribute outcome.The change clinical scenario with increasing frequency gives rise innumerate options based on individual experience case case.
